Yeah. That's important to me tbh when judging a rapper. Too many rappers these days will drop a verse on someone's song just for the sake of being on the song. I always respect a rapper more when they put work in every feature.

Pusha T had a better verse than Kendrick on Nostalgia.
Yelawolf and Big Krit had a better verse than Kendrick on 1Train.
Jay Rock had a better verse on Money Tree.
Drake had a better verse on Fucking Problems and Poetic Justice.

I am not a Kendrick hater or anything. His flow is AMAZING but bar for bar he isn't some godly rapper that some people is trying to make him out to be. And no Lance Drake is not my favorite artist.

I only agree with 1train because it's one of his worst guest verses (yela > krit) and money trees but again, kendrick had the best verse every time he was featured on a Jay Rock's album.

He is 100% right. That "Unga bunga bunga..." verse is pure gibberish. Flow, rhyming are there, but what the fuck did he say? Writing a verse with an actual meaning takes much more skill than just stacking words that rhyme and say nothing. And this verse is jut that. Tech is good, but Kendrick is a better lyricist.
