The "Bawse" headlines one of over a dozen events at the legendary school's festivities.

The theme of Howard University’s 2010 Homecoming is “Dynasty: An Era of Excellence” and they have a lineup for the occasion that more than lives up to it. The prestigious historically black college has the entire week from October 22nd through October 30th packed tight with events and athletics.

Of particular interest to music fans will be the school’s all day, Hip Hop-centric Homecoming International Yardfest, scheduled to take place on October 29th. The event will be headlined by Rick Ross and feature performances from Slick Rick, Mr. Vegas, Damien Bethea, Omega Red, Fat Pimp, Infamous, and Serani. Also of note is the Homecoming R&B concert taking place on the 29th but in the evening. That show will be highlighted by Erykah Badu & the Cannibinoids and Dondria.

The organizers are offering two VIP passes for the festivities. The VIP Black Card offers attendees admission to every single Homecoming Event while the VIP Dynasty Card allows its holder entrance to events held between Thursday the 28th and Saturday the 30th. Prices for those passes and full Homecoming details are available at http://www.bisonhomecoming.com.
