I can't fuckin believe i been sleepin on Wu Tang, i deicded to check out their music, since i was already a big fan of Method Man, at first i thought Ole Dirty was basicly the Bizzare of the group, but i was wrong, dude got flow, Matter of fact they all got flow.

I already have all of Method's albums, now i'm gonna have to check out all the members discographies, cuz i'm into that old school shit as it is

ODB as Bizarre?

He was just the most eccentric. Dude is a legend in NY and one of the most loved rappers of all time. Plus he was the original Kanye in so many ways, not the least being interupting other peoples acceptance speeches (plus he didn't do it on some bs MTV show, he did it at the Grammys!!!).

Wu-Tang's run will never be matched in Hip Hop, ever. For a group with 0 mainstream appeal to do so well and for so of their artists to match it individually, astonishing.

His name made me think he was just the goofy guy of wu tang, like bizzare is for d12, but Ole Dirty is dope, a guy at work was talkin about him today, somethin about ole dirty bein on food stamps, idk if thats true, this guy don't know much about rap, i mean, he listens to waka flaka, and some guy name yo gotti and says they are better than Jay-Z and Nas, which i find funny, people in Florida seem to enjoy shitty hip hop, instead of Rakim, Jay, Nas, Pac, and Eminem, down here they jam to Gucci, Waka, some guy named 2 Pistols, (the dude don't even write his own raps), and a bunch of shitty ass florida rappers i never really heard of, i can understand they like Trick Daddy, he got some talent, but how you gonna say they better than Jay and Nas, lol

but back on topic, the only rapper out of Wu Tang i don't like is Masta Killa, he's kind of annoying, but other than that, wu tang is bad ass

I have never been ODB's biggest fan. I bought the Return to 36 chambers album the other day and it was just one of the most disappointing albums I've heard in my life. I've seen it get all kinds of praise so I guess I'm in the minority.

Read up on the stories of him and the Welfare cheque story, the getting arrested at McDonald's story, coming to Wu Tang shows with disguises on as there were warrants issued in his name, the "Wu-Tang is for the kids" interruption speech at the Grammy's, the classic Biggie prank call and so many others.

There's not that many characters like that in Hip Hop anymore. Dude was as interesting and eccentric you will ever see. You can be sure if there was no Hip Hop, he would be dead or in jail.

ODB almost represents everything Hip Hop was about.

But I guess these days some people just appreciate these rich college boys who had everything handed to them on a platter, and don't recognize charisma.

Not a chance in hell. Kanye isn't funny, he isn't charismatic, he's a hypocritical man with a voice, that's the only reason he gets the attention he does. Kanye thinks we should owe him for being that good. I'd even argue with you on whether or not Kanye is entertaining at all. Btw. we're not speaking musically entertaining, I mean generally.

ODB, and to a much lesser extent 50 are just naturally entertaining, it's in their character to entertain, when they speak, they don't try and be controversial, it's who they are.

I mean look at Kanye's Taylor Swift speech interruption, he comes off as a douchebag there.
