Mobb Deep’s other half appeared on Statik’s Show Off Radio on Shade 45 last night and announced that Prodigy’s official release from Mid-State Correctional Facility will be on March 7. P is currently wrapping up his three-year bid from a gun possession charge.

I wonder if his time in jail improved his skills, either way I'm happy for him.

His autobiography is gonna be a hell of a read, there's not many who's book about their life and their feelings towards hip hop who will be more interesting than P's. He won't hold back.

All this shit they are saying about "Illuminati" etc. now, Prodigy said that 10 years a go.

Took 3 years for bullshit charges, didn't rat out 50 when he could have to walk away from it all. I'd suggest Rick Ross and his relatives are ready.

Oh and he was supposed to be released in Feb, so another month of bs. Either way, welcome back P. Queens!

Anyone who's a fan of hip hop history should dislike the guy, he represents everything that hip hop is against, it's in our blood.

Btw. another thing on P, I have nothing against Kanye and I think he's okay, but yeah...I think you should bet your house there's going to be some stuff between these two this year.

Damn P's missed out on a lot.

Happy for him, but dude is washed up as fuck. I hope he doesn't have any drugs problems anymore, or were those just rumors?

Prodigy actually had drug problems throughout his career, he could just handle it and still release good music unlike a certain white rapper (jks). Seriously though, his autobiography should tell more on this.

Havoc actually said that 50 helped him overcome his drug problems though. He said he sent P to drug rehab which cost up to 200k and helped him overcome it.

I personally think everything Prodigy released after Amerikaz Nightmare (which is one of the worst albums ever by a big artist) was very good to great. I'm talking Blood Money, Return of the Mac and HNIC 2.

I think he'll have a huge return. He's got too much talent not to.

Let's not forget his sickle cell, I wonder how much that affected him and his music.

I would love Pordigy to make a huge comeback though, one of my favorite rappers ever. :smoking:
