A theory based on what i see most in hip hop world .. rappers are always better after spending time in jail/getting shot
Examples:
look at Wayne .. I'm Not a Human Being is definitley better thab The Carter III & Rebirth , and he was spiting lame shit over & over , auto-tuned & slow as fuck flow , now his flow is TIGHT! (check out 30 Minues To New Orleans & Bill Gates)

and some rappers go through the same change more lyrically , like T.I , Paper Trail .. the album was good but still the lyrics was swag all over the place (except Dead & Gone fo sho') , but No Mercy was released after preson .. lyrically its hundered times better than Paper Trail

and there's more !!
but the change rarely (but it happens) come negative , such as Akon but he's actually aint a rapper isn't he ? :P

I thought about that before I posted. All the shit he goes through today really started with his mom dying, or at least most of it. I think it pushed him off the edge, Yeezy's been a lil creezy ever since.

@FreeSpeech : yeah you're right , and i respect your opinion , but some life-changing moments make the artist a bit "softer" , i noticed that when comparing Encore to Recovery .. in Encore he freely nocks everyone alive and cussimg everyone around him , in Recovery he talks abouy his love life & drugs addiction .. etc. not that its a better album i mean the concept
same with Yeezy & Graduation/MBDTF
