Father of hip hop DJ kool Herc is in the hospital...

The father of hip hop, Clive Campbell, also known as DJ kool Herc (55) is in the hospital with a bad health condition. That’s what DJ Premier said on this weeks Live From HQ. It’s doesn’t look positive as Kool Herc doesn’t have a health insurance and the billings go higher and higher. No more details were given but he is in need of some financial help as soon as possible.

The likes of Jay-Z, Eminem, 50 Cent, Diddy, etc... Basically, all the hip hop artists with more than enough money, need to show their support.

Without DJ Kool Herc there would be no hip hop at all.

EDIT: According to DJ Tony Touch (via Twitter), DJ Kool Herc is doing OK. He needs surgery, though. There will be a 'collection' for him this Tuesday at Sutra (wherever that might be...).
