Best songs from rappers about their cities/states

Got this idea from Cosh's thread.

There's the obvious ones, like California Love, New York State of Mind, Empire State of Mind etc.

What are some of your favourite ones?

Other than the popular ones which are anthems, I have a big love for the Queens joint that was made for LL's album that was never released. All that was missing was really Nas, but he's not cool with any of the artists on the track.

Gotta say, even though I'm not from Cleveland, I love this song by Bone about their city. I love the way they incorporated the corny Drew Carey show song and made it work.

I love that Lowkey one.

What's the Dutch one about though? Is the lyrics good? Because the rhythm and the flow of the song is pretty dope.

European (mostly French) and Brasilian rap is blowing up these days man. I wish I could understand it.

The lyrics are pretty good, punchlines and wordplay about their love for Rotterdam. I mean, just the kind of lyrics you would expect from a song like that.

And, yeah, French rap is blowing up fast. Same with German rap. Dutch rap is doing pretty good, too, at the moment. Haven't heard much of Brasilian rap, though.
