Well technically it's two days till the anniversary of his death, but whatever. Anyone else noticed how he and Dilla share the same birthday(day and year)? How many deaths did we have this month, counting Big L, Big Pun, J dilla and Nujabes. We had some serious losses, rip Nujabes you were the best. :'(

Yeah a lot of people refer to him as the J dilla of Japan, he's great if you like ambient music. Check out his album Metaphorical Music, that shit's a classic for producer albums but expect the beats to outshine the rappers' mic performance.

If you do like his sound than you should also check out the album Bop Alloy by Substantial, which has a producer follow in his footsteps and the rapper heavily featured in Metaphorical Music (Substantial) in it.

Anyways try Lady Brown and High 2 Lows to get started on top of the tracks on my op.

They're great for bumping in your car same with Purple Haze by Camron, honestly songs like those go a lot better when driving than a lot of "real hip hop" songs, and they're great just for chillin when you don't feel like thinking much. But yeah Juelz and Wayne were sick in that, I think that was Wayne's prime in that mixtape.

I honestly didn't think Juelz was gonna go that hard, same with Wayne. The only time I've ever heard Juelz is on You Ain't Got Nuthin' on C3 & on Beamer, Benz & Bentley but now after I take a listen to Nujabes, I'ma get Juelz's discography :smoking:

He's always been one of my favorite producers. Along with Counting Stars these were my favorite instrumentals by him.
