I'm not a fan of making threads but this has to be put to rest...

Does anyone notice how much play this song has gotten in the last 6 months?

It's getting to the point where kids are playing it as their ringtones and shit..

Thoughts?

It's a good track btw...
But why is it in the top 40 on the radio over here? o.o

I find it ironic that the kids like the older stuff now lol...
4 years ago it was all about the new shit...

This wouldn't be the first time we got obsessed with the 90's..
Take a look at some of the music stores that sell records..
All 90's stuff mostly..
That was around 2006 before things got fucked up..
Well...The album did get remastered in 2004..So...

Completely different type of songs. One's a classic Biggie type party track, whereas the other is a Ghostface deep emotional song.

I don't know they have different moods, but they're basically telling the same story though Ghost's is more heartfelt. The vids reminded me of each other as well for somereason.

They're clearly different type of songs.

It's like comparing say motivational songs like Eminem's 'Beautiful' and 'Lose Yourself'. Just because it has a similar message, it doesn't mean they're similar overall.
