Tech N9ne - F.A.N.S

Postby Master Chief » Mar 26th, '11, 01:27

Yes, I know there's a thread about it a few pages down but this post deserves it's own thread. So, don't even think about locking this :coffee:

Who else thinks this is one of Tech's most important/meaningful/emotional song of all time? I mean, just look at how his popularity has gone up since K.O.D dropped. No, since Bad Season dropped. From there I would consider him mainstream. It's a beautiful thing to see an artist you've followed since he/she was underground become successful and popular AND make a song thanking YOU. His album has the names of a FUCKLOAD of stars that we could only dream of him having before all this shit happened. B.o.B, Wayne, T-Pain, Busta Rhymes, Yelawolf, Twista, possibly Em, and a fan favorite on this forum...Hopsin.

The chorus is easily one of my favorite Tech choruses of all time. Would make my Top 20 hooks of all time without a doubt. The verses are just as touching and contain some real impressive rhyming. I've been replaying this song since it came out, this song is really a gem and another reason why we should think this album is gonna be the best out in 2011. Not only that but there's a good chance it could push some good numbers. It all depends on how his single with Wayne does...

If there are songs on All 6's And 7's about as good as this song then we have an undisputable classic that will cement Tech's place as a force to be reckoned with in the mainstream :b:

Gotta agree with this, who else makes a whole song thanking their fans rather then some half assed intro/skit only. Can't wait for 6s & 7s

Slug did. I don't recall the name right off the top of my head, though.

Honestly, though.. It's awesome how humble he is.

In all honesty I'd bet Master Chief started crying when he first heard the chorus.

I don't like the song, but it isn't bad. It serves its purpose.

Listening to this song makes me wish I had started listening to his shit earlier.

Might be the best of the year unless Food and Liquor 2 drops.

Tech N9ne is a rapper that been keepin' me impressed wit his music for a long time. I consider him the second best rapper I know, behind "everybody knows who". :smoking:

Started to listen to him in beginnin of '07, right before I join this forum. I even downloaded here his 2007 album, MLK. And the became a fan.

He did again with this track. I think All 6's and 7's will be sick.
The only disappointment I had with him was Gates mixed plate, but i guess I expected too mch of a party directed-album. From "The Calm before the Storm" to "Bad season", there just a little bunch of weak tracks so far. Especially when you see how much he's been workin makin music.

I really hope he collaborates with Eminem, even at this moment of Em's career.
