10 songs you will never get tired of

Postby Satire » Mar 27th, '11, 09:02

Corny thread but whatever. If you could have a CD of 10 songs from unique artists to listen to for the rest of your life (Imagine that you're trapped on an island with an infinite power CD player and this burnt album, idk), what would they be? 1 song per artist, Stans.

If this was the playlist for the rest of my life I would die happily tbh.

Re: 10 songs you will never get tired of

I have too much songs like this. Sometimes I'm just impressed of how much songs I know. Thousands and thousands, since I always heard radio, CD's and Tapes since very young, and now MP3's. Might be a really big bunch of songs that might fill the requirement for this topic.

I'l try 10 or more from my mind right now that passed the test of time, which means they lasted at least 2 years on my favorite or classic status:

Sugar ray - Someday (Like 8 years ago or more!!)
Big Krizz Kaliko ft. tech n9ne & Agginy - Slow down (since 2008, when it was realased!)
Bon Jovi - Livin on a prayer or "you give love a bad name" (since.. always!). "Bed of roses" has the possibility of fillin it too. Heard it 2009 and recognized it from years ago. Just classic.
Linkin Park - In the end (since the release in 2000!)
Metallica - One (since 2008, my brother discovered it)
Eminem & D12 - Purple pills (since 2005, but I heard aourd 04' on announcement and already searched like crazy until hearin' on a gym class and become an instant fan...)
Raul Seixas - Gitã (since... I don't even remember! Way too young, probably more than 10 years ago)
Joan Osbourne - One of us (since.. I don't remember too! Maybe little after the release in '95)
The Survivors - Eye of the tiger (since always)
Tony Braxton - Unbreak my heart (since... always)
Whitney Houston - I will always love you (since always)
Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Californication or Scar tissue (since '99 maybe or little after the year of release) or even "Snow (Hey yo)" (Just beautifully great!!! - 2006 was teh year of release and I heard it '07). Also "By the way" (2002)
Alanis Morissette - Offer (2002)
Scorpions - She said (2004) and Still lovin you (I don't remember when I fisrt heard it).
Ice Cube - It was a good day (heard around 07', it's almost a must at the end of some days)

Too much to count... A lot of songs will not appear here cuz I just can remember right now... since it's one song per artist, the choices would round by here.

Also I saw here the mentionin of From the inside by Linkin Park - I heard this on January (re-discovered a lot of Meteora and Hybrid Theory stuff that will probably fill this requirement) and now I hear it 4 or 5 times a week. Just GREAT!! Same with Breakin the habit, Numb, Points of authority and others from their 2 first albums.

[Spoiler]
(I have a habbit of postin on these kind of topics is to stick them so I might search for good music only gettin my old posts. I can recover some of them to see the recommendations of the other members. Since I wanna renew my folder, recently decreased because of deletin' troll songs, I'll remeber on this topic my intention to do this as soon as possible.) :smoking:
