Now I think Hip Hop is moving into a better direction. Those artists seem to have lost popularity. Now artists like B.o.B, Kid Cudi, Eminem (regardless of quality) and Kayne are the ones that have their face everwhere. Of course there are still wack rappers that have become popular like Drake and Nicki Minaj but they are becoming outnumbered.
Now keep in mind I am not talking about Hip Hop as in quality. I am talking about hip hop as in what is popular right now in the eyes of the public. Hopefully the wack rappers will fade away entirerly hip hop can be brought back into the glory days
See dude, every post of yours I can't help but feel like you have absolutely no clue whatsoever what you're talking about. You're admittedly new to hiphop, and that's fine, but you talk as if you're some ancient hiphop head who grew up with Pac and Biggie playing in your crib.
Kanye has been around and popular nearly a decade. If you don't think he used to "have his face everywhere" until just recently, here's a lil hint on how he was portrayed, in the biggest music magazine in the world, in 2006, before Crank That was ever made:

Gucci's first major album was in 09, same year as Cudi's major debut and Eminem's return. Soulja Boy had Crank That in 07, same year as Kanye's Graduation and your lil hero Lupe's The Cool (with Superstar recieving massive airplay).
Some of hip hop's most popular albums USED to be by Jay? Blueprint 3 was a monster of an album, you couldn't escape from ESOM or Forever Young. It came out in 2009.
Here's a spoiler alert for you in the story of hiphop: There always has, and always will be wack rappers making hits. Before Gucci we had Crunk. Before Crunk we had No Limit. Before No Limit, we had MC Hammer, Vanilla Ice, etc.
