This is 2Pac.

Both are talented black MCs who've built the bulk of their best work on emotional content and soulful listenability, both have extremely loyal fanbases with outlooking accusations hanging over them of being "overrated". Who do you prefer, and why.

Derdy's mad because Budden ethered Lil' B without even responding. He didn't even need to do a relevant action to destroy Lil' B. He killed Lil' B by naming his mixtape Mood Muzik 4.

2pac don't even deserve to be mentioned with Budden. Budden is good, but when he raps about stuff it sounds like a soap opera. Although Budden might have him lyrically.

Pac's discography is waaaaaaaaaay better than Budden's.

Joe Budden is a lyricist,he writes lyrical rap music,he has great story telling abilities,his voice and delivery are very emotional,a good rhymer,sometimes a great rhymer,and he can easily do all the MC-ing stuff,one of the best people who ever attempted punchlines.

tupac is just not lyrical,hes boring,he puts me to sleep,his subject matter is dull,lets face it bar for bar joey got him EASILY,tupac's presence in the game is more important than his rapping skill.

2Pac. As I often say being unique is very important and while nobody reminds me of Tupac, there are plenty of MCs who sound similar to Joe to me. Plus, Joe's impact is a joke compared to 2Pac's and I haven't checked out all of his albums but I assume he loses in the discography category as well.

I feel like this isn't serious. If you prefer Budden, OK, but to say he's better the Pac is just stupid. I'm not even a huge Pac stan...

Emotion: Tupac by far
Voice: Give me 20 minutes in NYC or Jerz and I can find someone with Budden's voice. Pac has arguably the greatest rap voice.
Beats/production: Tupac, again.
Multis: Joey isn't even that impressive or far ahead of Pac, but I'll give him this one.
Lyricism: Tupac by far. His social commentary and soulful rhymes >>>>> Joey's bitching and soap operas.
Cultural influence: Seeing as how Budden has 0 and Pac coulda probably became governor of California (and might have, conspiracy theory :shifty:

Persona: Lol. Tupac.

In 30 years, Pac will still be a GOAT and Joey will be chasing his grandkids (assuming he doesn't beat the shit out of them in the womb first) hitting them with his cane for playing Pump It Up in the house.
