Pac, Biggie, & Jay-Z are the first three, vote for who gets the #4 spot.

lmao, it would be awkward as hell to see a Caucasian man in there next to three african americans.

Lil Wayne is laughable too.

Kanye West seeing a feeble minded man in a painting against 3 top monsters, don't get me wrong I like Kanye it's just he isn't fittable for this type of situation.

& Ice Cube ? a man who went from a gangster in LA to a movie in 'Are we there yet'? really?

@KRYS, NAS, KOOL J RAP = Not much to say (cause I don't know too much about these guys)

Going to have to go with Big Daddy Kane. :b:

Why the hell is Jay guaranteed a spot? Eminem should have been first, do they not realize the impact this guy made?!

Def Nas or Em should get the 4th spot.Jay-z is/was as influential(if not more) as Em & he's been more consistent then Em.Nas on the other hand,is now more of an underground hip-hop legend then a mainstream one.Hard choice, but both of them deserve that spot.

Such a toss up for me here. Too many great artists to consider. My inner stan leans towards Eminem, but I could just as easily accept Nas up there too.

It should have been this:

-Eminem
-Nas
-2Pac
-Jay-Z or Biggie (These two really had the LEAST impact on rap out of the choices being considered)

I mean hell, Eminem expanded hip hop more than any other artist, paved the way for it become as big as it is now, 2Pac did that too but not as large of a scale, and Nas revolutionized the way rap was written (once again after Rakim, who should have been a choice along with some Wu Tang Members). Hell, what did Biggie do? He represented the East Coast but isn't mentioned as much as 2Pac is and was. He was pretty big though, and Jay-Z just inherited Biggie's title as the king of the East Coast. Really though, if 2Pac and Biggie weren't shot and killed they might not have even been on this list.

I would have chosen:

-Melle Mel (Cause he was the first to do hip hop the way it has been formatted for so long I believe, might be wrong. And I don't really listen to him but he needs recognition)
-Rakim (Took rhyme to a new level)
-Nas (Same as Rakim)
-Eminem (Brought rap to large audience, reached the pinnacle of rhyme, told the best story, made the most controversy, and paved the way for future rappers driving the game away from guns, bitches, and money [Kinda], and he was very innovative).

My Opinion

I think they should take out Jay and replace him with Nas and add Em. The only reason Jay is guarenteed on there is because its on a Roc4life site..
