Every insanely popular, big rapper is essentially 'overrated' by most of their fans.

But if I had to choose one...Hmm... Maybe Hopsin. I think he's dope, but I feel sometimes people over-hype his talent. I do however feel that he has the potential to fulfill that hype, but he isn't quite there yet.

It does sound like he getting better though. He's almost living up to the hype tbh

I would say Jay, but Jay is still actually good. Has to be Lil Wayne.

I've never seen such a white-wash of praise on such an otherwise universally agreed piece of shit. I mean, I know he's successful internationally but chart hits, do not make a good rapper. Anybody who I knows who likes hip-hop, despises Wayne.

And just from my standpoint, like, there's plenty of rappers who I don't particularly listen to but who I can still obviously hear are very skilled, Lil Wayne is just... abysmal.
