Cashis
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

Why are people mentioning new artists ?
Those artists didn't hit their prime yet

R.A. The Rugged Man

He made a choice though. Unfortunately, his absolute refusal to play ball fucked him up for a while.

Though I didn't initially mention him, I honestly don't think Mac Miller is going to get any better.
That being said, you're right; you never know with new rappers.

I was a fan of Cory Gunz until he fell off the face of the Earth.
Which is a shame, because he was making moves (singles, features, and a tv show).

True... I asked but never got a response.

My apologies n shit :facepalm2
Was going to reply but forgot.
My intention was for people to name rappers who have spent 5 years+ in the game - in my opinion enough time to reach your full potential for the average artist as long as you have a buzz already.
It applies to a most of the MC's mentioned but not all.

some battle rappers can only battle rap...
