I always thought this was a little aimless and not that creative at all. As a matter of fact, I cringe when Common starts rapping about "bitches" when he has a great history of making conscious hip hop tracks that speak on behalf of women. Most notably A song for Assata and Retrospect of life.

The Believer off the same album is a much better effort.
