If there is some buzz pushing an album up is always better than pushing it back so it is all good IMO... esp. considering the circumstances.

Kanye isn't a huge seller anyway and he doesn't have much of a positive buzz right now. If he wants to release his album one month after announcing it, he won't sell that much. He's no Justin Timberlake, Eminem or Jay-Z.

I don't doubt he'll go platinum but I don't think it'll hurt J.Cole's sales, which probably won't even exceed 150 000. Kanye will outsell him and probably do like 500k, with a better album.

So yeah. Won't do much harm.

Yeah, I feel like they'd gel quite well together on a solid album track. And yeah Cole's absence on gkmc was a little surprising but I bet they laid a couple tracks down that just didn't make it. Maybe saving up for the collaborative EP?
