Southern rap has some standouts, but overall is filled with senseless bullshit. West Coast artists have some interesting people, along with great story tellers, but the gangster rap sort of dumbs them down. Probably the Midwest, at the end of the day. In terms of variety, originality, etc. There's a good balance there.
