OMEGA wrote:Summary: after hearing Workout (bonus from Cole World), Nas talked to Cole and he said he expected more from the dude. Apparently this crushed Cole and there will be a "deep" song about this in Born Sinner.
I can see where Nas is coming from. Cole World was pretty much devoid of any creativity so hearing something like workout must have been disappointing since he expected more out of him. Born Sinner does look like a more artistic album though, so he might be able to redeem himself.

I believe GKMC had a really big influence too.
Regardless of how good GKMC actually is, it's impact on rappers realizing they don't need to compromise is of great importance.

Cole World sold extremely well. That's why Cole has the liberty to do whatever he wants now.
