Well, ever since Thrift Shop came out, I thought this guy was the corniest to ever touch the mic. I also even despised this dude for his corny ass raps. I was actually a little bit more impressed by Can't Hold Us.

But my friend that I know only loves real Hip Hop said he was actually a good rapper, and I believed her because I thought that he could actually rap, but his concepts weren't good.. So she recommended The Heist... So listened and HOLY SHIT... I was blown away!

The album is fucking amazing, his concepts are amazing and that album contains some of the best songs I've heard this year. Ten Thousand Hours, Same Love, Make the Money, Neon Cathedral, Jimmy Iovine, Wing$, Starting Over... Just some tracks that are fucking amazing. The production is also top fucking notch, props to Ryan Lewis. That instrumental track on here was bliss.

I did feel like some tracks were fillers, like Gold, Thin Line, A Wake, and even the ScHoolboy Q track was Ehh.. but Thrift Shop and Can't Hold Us make so much more sense now that I heard the entire project.

Overall its still a great, and I definitely take back what I said about Macklemore.

Don't worry, this is how everyone feels about him. Fortunately enough, I knew him before Thrift Shop was huge so I didn't judge him because of that song. I think I heard Wings first. I don't know, I knew him a little before the XXL freshmen cover but only checked his music when he got on it.

His cypher was dope.
