Come on Em. Not only are you in the studio with the hottest, most critically acclaimed young star in Hip-Hop atm, who's album you really like, and who would no doubt LOVE to collaborate with you and who your fans would LOVE for you to collaborate with. And what happens? Nothing. :facepalm

"It was unexpected, I just went to Detroit and I had a show out there and I got a call saying, 'Em [wants you] to come to the studio, come to the studio fast,' " K-Dot told MTV News after his performance at the Firefly Festival in Dover, Delaware this weekend.

"Unfortunately for us, Kendrick didn’t divulge whether or not the two got to actually record together."

That's good news because it could mean Em is really finishing up his project.

I think he's jealous of Nas, seeing as how young rappers look at Nas as a father and a consultant.
He might be trying to do the same....he will have 2-4 more albums and then that's it, but he doesn't wanna be forgotten so.....

Just a random thought, though.

Great perspective, it's a good possibility tbh.

Well, we've already seen Em building a relationship with B.o.B, Big Sean, Kendrick, and Tyler, the Creator. Not to mention that he signed an up-and-comer in Yelawolf.

Which one of these younger rappers has Nas worked with? He hasn't really appeared on any of their albums and vice versa.

Nas has his people and Em has his.

But because Em's never free for any of them, he doesn't appear too much on the news even though he might be playing a big part behind the scenes.

Well, Em is a reclusive. What I'm saying is that at least Em has contributed verses, where is Nas at? :coffee:

On Meek Mill's album :y:

Probably because he was practically completely out of the game for 5+ years. To me, he's still 35.
