I don't know that Pink song! But I noticed that she's pink! They put me in a fuckin' room and [inaudible - maybe "projected it"].

Don't get me wrong. I'm a fan of Ye's music. Em' and Kanye are my 2 favorite artists. But I admit that he is a real douchebag with some people, in most occasions. Sometimes it happens to be funny, though.

Well, that's an example of 'awesome and epic douchebag-ery'. People can think that he is incredibly arrogant and so on, but for me he's just an totally passionate artist, and that's not very common nowadays.

Back on topic, I have the feel that the leak of this rant will make the Press post more negative articles about him, and that is not the part that's important for his legacy.

Within the context of this rant, it's even more than just giving him respect in the way rappers usually do.

He's going out of his way to say that not only does he respect Eminem's skill, but that he also doesn't feel like his race plays into his critical reception. Or at least, if it does, that Kanye feels that Eminem still deserves it. Since he was upset about white performers getting preferable treatment over black performers, and he essentially went out of his way to make it clear that he didn't include Eminem in that category, it does show a high level of respect coming from Kanye West.

He's not the type of person to hold his tongue anyway, let alone to a random group of people when he's already upset. He's not a humble person, and to tell people that he recognized the skill that Eminem put forth on "Forever"--to the point that he spent two days rewriting his own verse--it seems as though he really means what he says.
