I think he was kinda anti-becoming mainstream after how accessible and well-received Below The Heavens was, which kinda sucks. Although I think Accor said godleebarnes is up there with Below The Heavens, which I've yet to hear - but his two 2010 verses on The Roots album were fucking great, so it's probably on that level, just shit quality.

I don't know about 2013 Blu and his direction though.
