Man I loved the first G-Unit studio album. I remember Young Buck said it would be like GRODT x 100 (before it came out), and while that was a moronic comment the album still turned out to be very dope album which I bumped a lot back then. Catchy songs and Banks' clever word play and punchlines (hell, even Young Buck brought it, as he did on the slept-on Straight Outta Ca$hville as well). T.O.S. came out for what seemed like an eternity later, and while I will go back and give the album another listen, it didn't really stand out like the first one did, but it certainly had some dope tracks (Piano Man, Casualties of War and a few more), and I was pleasantly surprised by the aggressive style of the album. No soft 50 ballads on here. But like I said, it doesn't compare to Beg For Mercy. I'll be surprised if anyone thinks so.
Now, instead of clogging up your forum with a fourth topic in just half an hour, I'll give my thoughts on Young Buck's SOCV here. This album is pure fucking gold. It's fire from start to finish. I bumped this a lot more than I bumped other G-Unit releases. Do It Like Me sets the presedence and it only gets better from there. I'm just glad I copped the album so early that I now the now very rare version where on Stomp they have T.I. instead of that fucking reality-show-appearing faggot The Game. To sum it up, to this day, every time I put on this album I'm blown away by the quality. Rappers of today, take notes.
