My favorite (or one of my favorite) Detroit artists right now is Fatt Father, he's in the Fatt Killahz with King Gordy. His Fatherhood tape is incredibly solid, and I listen to it quite frequently.

Really solid artist. I've never disliked a Fatt Father verse, ever.

My favorite artists though are Eminem (of course), Proof, Kuniva might be my favorite active rapper, I'm the biggest King Gordy fan on the site, Elzhi, Royce, and Fatt Father.

No love for Swift? Get in the van!

There'd be more love for him if that Retro Hip-Hop tape wasn't... weak-ish. :shifty:

Here's one of his songs, pretty much everything he does is good imo though:

The Fatt Killahz have a lot of different music. Their "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner" album was more typical Detroit hip-hop, and the "Fatt Killahz EP" from a year or two ago was more leaning towards the horrorcore side of things.

Edit: I can't really find a lot off "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner" on youtube, but here's one FK track that's pretty good:

That Dust In The Wind song is my favorite Fatt song.

Also, Aone, check out Marv Won. If I were on my computer I'd link you to some good FK songs.

Heroes is sick, here's a link:

Marv's "Heavy is the Head..." tape is pretty cool.

Gonna have to check some of their shit out. :y: :y:

Btw, do any of you remember when King Gordy joined Project Deadman with Prozak and Mike E. Clark? They were supposed to do an album together and then broke up. That was one of the biggest blue balls ever tbh.

I remember they did a song called No Rest For The Wicked that was pretty dope.

I actually didn't know that he was supposed to be in Project Deadman until yesterday, when I was listening to some King Gordy interviews from 2009. He was talking about King of Horrorcore 2, and it came up. I was really surprised.
