Loll @ Rev breaking down and getting all prissy over this shit... Seriosuly tho rev you're known to be extremely biased against certain artists and are one of the most emotional posters when it comes to that... I.e. Kanye & Jay z..

Also Mac Miller dropping the whole frat boy rap automatically improves his music tenfold, which is the worst type of rap..

I couldn't stand Mac when I first heard of him when Donald Trump was pretty big...

But then I put on Watching Movies and he surprised me. I like that album.

He's not the most improved; but he has definitely improved A TON throughout the last several years. I love his The Star Room video :y:

WMWTSO is dope as fuck from all aspects, especially the production :y:

I'm saying you have a bias towards any of his material just because of the fact that he's Mac Miller, rather than if someone else put out the same material

Watching Movies was not a terrible attempt at a rap album and I'm not saying Mac Miller is an excellent lyricist by any means. I'm saying I don't think you're right when you call the whole album garbage. So I'm just wondering how you think it's so bad when it has so many high points. Like I can't imagine someone listening to it and just not vibing out with any of it unless they're extremely anal and unpleasant people over-analyzing it and trying to find ways to discredit it

Lots of fun songs

& I wasn't trying to jump on your taste as though you're only into Slaughterhouse and Immortal Technique in response to that other post of yours, I used SH as an example because I don't know what else you listen to

Well first of all I don't personally think it's fair to form an opinion on something through one divided play through. And you could still be biased and have those two agree with you. For people who listen to A$AP Rocky and Lil Ugly Mane I imagine they could find some sort of enjoyment out of the album too, so I would like to hear more of their thoughts on it.

"He may have improved but that doesn't mean he's good"
Literally the entire thread is about whether or not he's improved, and your first response was "Nope, he's garbage." so I'm not too sure what opinion you're teeter-tottering on. And it isn't that he might have improved, he certainly did.

No I don't have the same feelings towards some artists, if you haven't noticed I barely go around calling anyone garbage or terrible, I'm all about that positivity and giving credit where it's due fam

So yeah, I still do think you're being too hard on him and biased; you didn't really say anything that makes me think otherwise...Kinda supported my claim by saying "Am I being too hard on him? Maybe."

I'm not really asking you to change your opinion, I just wanted a discussion on how you formed that opinion in the first place. I don't mind if you don't ever listen to Mac Miller lol. No need for a new thread, if you do listen to it again prolly just post your thoughts here.
