Recommendations?

Postby jdw89 » Dec 31st, '13, 05:43

I've been out of the loop for awhile and haven't listened to rap much since I was in 8th grade. Listening to it again I have found I don't like much else except for Eminem's stuff and some more old school rap. I definitely don't like rap about women, money, bling, etc. it gets old fast. Does anyone have any recommendations for stuff I may like? I have a WU Tang album, Em's stuff, some Beastie Boys, the re up and Bad Meets Evil and 1 2 Pac album.

Lupe Fiasco - Food & Liquor

Atmosphere - When Life Gives You Lemons You Paint That Shit Gold

Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d city

Nas - illmatic

OutKast - Aquemini

Blu & Exile - Below the Heavens

the amount of materialistic content in these is slim to none, so you won't to have worry about that. These are top tier albums breh, enjoy.
