Grammys: Twitter Asks the Grammy to give Kendrick AOTY

Award shows are meant to honor the best in their craft. However, it also divides fans. The 56th Annual Grammy Awards show taking place tonight at the Staples Center in Los Angeles is perhaps the best example of fervent fans picking sides as two newcomers are up for multiple awards. Those two newcomers are, of course, none other than Kendrick Lamar and Macklemore. Both Kendrick and Macklemore are up for seven Grammys, and the two meet up in a handful of those categories.

Fans have been divided but Twitter is showing overwhelming support for Kendrick Lamar over Macklemore. Some comments read "Not here for the way the Grammys are gonna meat ride Macklemore. Give Kendrick album of the year though" and "Grammys come on tonight if macklemore beat kendrick we gotta riot."

Its a shame that rap doesnt win in a rap category. Its just like how people consider Pitbull a rapper.
