Get Rich or Die Tryin not getting a grammy is a fucking robbery if you ask me
TrShady is just great. A place where pompousus blowhards can connect with other pompousus blowhards, and form a vast circle jerk of pomposity.

It's a classic too... but Speakerboxxx/The Love Below is a great album.

Yeah if Outkast takes the prize from 50 you can't exactly call that a rob. Might be a robbery the other way around actually, haha. That's just my opinion of course.

I know most hip hops heads are angry that Macklemore beat out GKMC but I'm sure we can all share a lulz that it beat Yeezus?

Anyway, award shows are way overhyped and artists of all genres have been robbed at one point or another. Eminem has been robbed and he's white, so I don't think it's a race thing, as much as it is the "academy" having a horrible taste thing.

Also, I'm not sure how the academy works, but it would be cool if they were broken up into genres and the members consisted of artists or critics of that genre. Meaning old school/veteran rappers are selected to vote on the rap categories, veteran rockers select the picks for the rock categories etc. Although if they did that, Eminem probably wouldn't win as often/be nominated as often, I think.

Yes.

If macklemore's sophomore album beats MMLP2 (assuming it is released before October) then the hip hop community will commit suicide.
