I've been watching battles for the past coupla days actually... this generation of battlers are really on another level in terms of viciousness and wordplay etc. ... I used to think Diz was the absolute best by default after seeing the Canibus shit... not because he beat Canibus, but just how nastily and psychologically he did it...

Seen some more... the dude is still up there but I wouldn't say he's EASILY the best.

Scotty Horroh is pretty aiyt, despite the fact he looks like something out of Lord of the Rings.

Anyway back to your post: so Diz got ass fucked by Pat Stay? What happened @ the drama and shit, Ima need to check this shit out. As I've seen quite a few Diz battles... I've seen him on the back foot but never truly get done or flummox around too much.

yeah i mean diz was far more technically proficient, like he was all over the place lyrically (although he did have a small fuck up in his first and third rounds but made quick recoveries), and he was super energetic and intense, but none of it even budged pat, pat was just smooth as fuck and his rebuttals were incredible. it was like good vs. evil man, diz was all crazy and dark and pat was just super calm and funny and nice, pat definitely deserved the win, he was on some other-level shit that i've never seen happen in a battle before. he was like breaking down the whole battle scene and why it hurts him and how it used to be in his last round, i was like damn...
