I love J.Cole like, a lot, but Watsky rhymes so much better than him.

Watsky has some of the greatest poetic lines I've ever heard. Not just rhyming but concept too. "Either someone just popped pop-corn or I hear the sound of a thousand people pulling their heads out of their asses in rapid succession"

No point in adding more to what everyone else has already said but wow. You obviously haven't peeped Watsky's discography if you can't see that he is a great rhymer. Or a great lyricist for that matter.

Infact, he's a spoken word poet. Literally. He's a poet.

I have not "peeped" any of his other work...only watched a couple music videos and saw where he jumped like 30 feet into a crowd like a fucking idiot.

I don't know if I am just old (25) or a hip-hop purist but what I have heard just sounds corny to me and I can't relate. Anyone ever seen the south park episode where everything sounds like shit to Stan? All his other friends think this one band is great, and he's like "dude this sounds like shit". That's how I feel about this guy, MGK, and Mac Miller. He is clearly making music for other white middle to upper class cornballs who know nothing about the hip hop culture. I will be shocked if any hip hop stations ever play his music. I'm a aspiring white rapper myself, and I just don't understand this light hearted bubble gum stuff.
