Connor stays unoriginal, he's the definition of "mixtape rapper"

kendrick on his solo stuff =/= kendrick on his guest verses

to me verses like sing about me are better than anything released by connor and I'm a fan.

anyway, didn't like it that much, he needs to make his own music

Not even going to listen or click on the link or do anything you'd expect me to do, but is the mixtape called "A Tribute To The Notorious B.I.G. Vol. 1"? When are we going to move on from the whole big and pac thing? Were they even good? I listened to like 3 songs and hated them, so I say let's keep it moving, for hip hop's sake. Nothing to see here.

That's like.. pretty gay though. What he should do is make a really good album of his own vision and creation.

This.

The whole "Big and Pac = the best" stuff is a classic example of sheep mentality. If you look around you and everybody else is calling them the best, you subconsciously force yourself to agree with them.

In reality, Biggie has never written anything worth a shit outside of some concept songs like "Suicidal Thoughts." Tupac was a decent writer, but he never made my jaw drop or give me goosebumps.

As for this guy: when you make a whole album in tribute of another rapper, you're a dick rider. It's cool to respect other rappers, but you need to have enough self-respect not to suck their dick for a whole album. Give them a line in one of your songs as an homage or something.
