More than 20 years after the infamous Dr. Dre/Eazy-E feud that ripped groundbreaking gangsta rap outfit N.W.A apart, the sons of the partners-turned-enemies are attempting to revive N.W.A as a touring unit.
In case you missed it, the existence of N.W.A Resurrected aka Sons of N.W.A was revealed last year in an OC Weekly cover story. The group—made up of Lil Eazy E (son of the late Eazy-E), Curtis Young (son of Dr. Dre), E3 (another one of Eazy-E's sons)—recently joined forces with original N.W.A member DJ Yella, according to Noisey.
The 46-year-old DJ Yella was part of World Class Wreckin' Cru alongside Dr. Dre before N.W.A came together. Now, Yella and the sons of his former bandmates are "looking to tour" this summer. And according to an unconfirmed Facebook page, they're looking to tour… anywhere. The Straight Outta Compton Tour reads "now booking" but has no dates listed, although Layzie Bone of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony will join them for "select dates" on this unbooked tour.
