In Death Reborn is sick as fuck. Bumping it. 10/10 of course. Their style never changes and it appeals to me. The beats and all are great.

Stay the fuck away from Death grips, dalek, or anything remotely experimental than lol. And don't even bother with My Bloody Valentine.

If u give cold vein that rating for production than we can't be friends anymore.... lol

it's shoegaze it's chaotically beautiful if that makes sense, it sounds like a lot of noise but is very fuzzy and idk just something u have to hear for urself.

Thoughts on this production tho

Vordul Mega the goat tho, current El-P is prty different from early El-P tho.

nah it's great don't think you'd love it like most others do, hell Psychocandy is an album you'd probably like more from that same genre (& no I'm not just recommending it cause of it's TVU influence). Although you strike me more as The Smiths fan.

Artist:The Roots
Album:Rising Down

1.The Pow Wow (Intro)
2.Rising Down-9.5/10
3.Get Busy-8.5/10 (Peedi Peedi is awful but the other verses are too great and this beat is probably the fucking hardest in the entire album)
4.@ 15-7.5 (normally wouldn't rate this and call this gimmicky but in the context of the album and preceding 75 bars it's pretty cool to see how much he improved in the next song)
5.75 Bars (Black’s Reconstruction)-10/10 (note, if anyone finds this song annoying cause of his constant use of Nigga, plz stop listenin to rap thanks.
6.Becoming Unwritten
7.Criminal-9/10 (Saigon's verse is nasty and also like Get Busy is also probably the most militant song in the album and really adds to the atmosphere)
8. Will Not Apologize-8/10
9.I Can’t Help It-8/10 (porn was prty gud in this song actually)
10.Singing Man-9/10 (reminds me of little weapon)
11.Unwritten-8.5/10 (like false media his verse here is probably his most substantial and impressive he ever wrote, just way too short)
12.Lost Desire-8.5/10 (kweli kills it)
13.The Show-9.5/10 (Thought is unbelievably nasty in this song, hook kinda sucks tho)
14.Rising Up-7.5/10

Final Rating? (1-10)
8.62

Did the album meet your expectations?
Yeah it's grown on me considerably and find that it works perfectly as a complement to game theory, yeah the weed carriers are annoying but in some ways I feel it even surpasses it. Black thought might be at his absolute best in this album and the beats are fucking fantastic, even the weed carriers at times add to the whole revolutionary like warfare atmosphere of the album.

Rate the album's production (1-10)
9/10

Rate the lyrical performance by (insert Rapper/Group) (1-10)
8.5/10 (10/10 if we only factor in BT and no weed carriers)

Rate the microphone/vocal performance (Flow, Delivery, Mic Presence, etc.) (1-10)
9/10

Who was your favorite guest on the album?
This one's actually though, a toss up between Mos Def & Saigon but I guess Saigon, cause of how badass and revolutionary like it is.

Favorite track?
75 bars

Favorite beat?
Rising Down or Get Busy
