Eh, but it's your opinion. I just generally can't stand frat rap (Sammy Adams, Hoodie Allen, G-Eazy etc.)

Is Chris Webby considered Frat Rap in your opinion?

I generally don't like the generalized category 'frat rap' fam

just my opinion, I don't think it's always a viable claim

Would 'pop rap' be more appropriate? :flower:

I'm the same way m8, but I got a soft spot for acts like Hoodie too, as long as they can back it up with legitament talent nahmsayin? I'm all about substance, but I can also enjoy a catchy act when I can listen to that rapper and say dang this guy can rap :smoking:

G EAZY IS NOT FRAT RAP.

Old G - Eazy was frat rap, but now he's just Hip Hop. Listen to Opportunity Cost and tell me that's frat rap.

Okay so thats not frat rap lol. But I've never heard of the guy 'till he came to Soundset here in MN to do his set. Wasn't feeling it.

But that songs not bad. Not fantastic, but not terrible.

I got exposed to him not too long ago and the stuff that I heard I'd considered 'pop rap'
Gave him a pass initially

Maybe i'll give him another chance. I don't know yet. Opportunity Knocks didn't seal me in lol.

1:47 for one of his best verses.

TDIAC was dope. But I didn't really care for his voice/tone and flow on that. But the lyricism was pretty good.
That other verse was pretty cool.

Okay so I'm not passing him off this time (thanks Wiz :y:), But I'm just going to say he's 'alright'. He doesn't wow me.. yet.
