Compton rapper Jayceon Taylor (aka The Game) was shot in the leg in a drive-by attack in South Los Angeles.

The shooting occurred about midnight at 111th and Hoover streets.

The victim, Jayceon Taylor, was taken to a hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The shooting may have been gang-related, according to Los Angeles Police Department Sgt. Jon Tippet of the Southeast Division, the suspects are members of the G-Unit Crips.

A description of the suspect vehicle was a blue 1994 Ford Escort.

Is that G-unit's fault? I mean I don't think G-unit has any members that are part of the Crips and I haven't heard them associated. If a Crip member did shoot Game and was a fan of G-unit, it's not fair to blame G-unit.

Personally I'd think Game was shot because he was a Blood and the Crips have a notorious rivalry with them.

But, I guess only time will tell.
