Jay-z is alright but as far as a legend i don't think he is one.
to quote 2Pac "Fuck Jay-Z!"
"Did you ever stop to think/I'm old enough to go to war but I ain't old enough to drink" - 2Pac

"It's time to let the truth be told/There ain't no brighter day/'Cause when it all unfolds/A n**** gon' just pass away/These haters tryna stop my grind/But I bet them hoes can't block my shine/So tired of takin' losses not this time/I can't save the whole world I'm just tryna look out for mine" - Z-Ro

Hahaha.

Jay-Z's alright. I don't think he's crap, he's not brilliant but he's done some good songs.

2pac - 2 clasic albums
Jay z - 2 classic albums (arguably more, but 2 solid ones)

some peope that automatically ride 2pac nuts wont acknowledge the skill jigga has, Jay-z isnt even one of my favourites, but i can put n reasonable doubt and i start to understand why he is labled what he is.

like others have said, im not a great fan of jay-Z the odd album or so i really enjoyed, but you do have to say, Jay-Z is classed as a Legend, full stop.
