Indie labels dont sell too many records..but the artists makes more money from indie labels...say an artist from a major label makes about 15 cents an album sold, now an artist from an indie label will make about 30 cents an album
plus shows and appearances, and depending on what kind of an emcee the person is..he can go out and do the battle thing and win money off of that..thats if he/she wins.
Eyedea and Abilities are not known by the mainstream crowd but the underground heads know them well and go to all their shows...cash for E&A
