really you think that Common is overated? i just think that you havent given Common's latest a really good listen....it was like his Electric Circus album, at first i wasnt feelin it, but i understood where he wanted to go w/ the whole concept of that album and got a liking to it. i really like "Be" but hey everyone has theyre own opinion and i'm not gonna trash you on yours, juss try to ive it a good listen..with the volume high and you bass up

This year he is like the good the face of hip hop thats y everybody blessing him but FOR HIM to get 5 MIC album i mean cmon "BE" has probably the worst beats i ever heard, it only has ten songs and the shit he talked about in the songs ......... Yes he does talk about sensible stufff but that does not make him a great rap artist, just like Kanye he uses the image of being UNCOMERCIAL ..... and u hear all these ppl who are showing off how they are more into that "uncomercial stuff"........ pittifull

Common = average hip-hop artist with a good message
