The Game's Rap Fanatic Magazine Interview

Postby 848lu » Jan 24th, '07, 22:28

Rap Fanatic: First off, good looking on the shout-out you gave us on the DVD you put out this past summer...

The Game: It's all good, dog.

Rap Fanatic: All eyes are on you right now with this second album. Do you feel like this album will, once and for all, silence your critics who say that you can't make a hot album without 50 Cent or Dr. Dre's help?

The Game: You know what I say man? I say fuck the critics! My album is my album, man. I made it for my fans and I made it for me. It's good music and it's a fuckin' classic album. If people don't like me or like what I do, then leave my shit on the shelf and go buy the next man's shit. As long as they're supporting Hip Hop, It don't even matter to me. I'm not trying to oversell myself to people or get them to like me, or my music. I'm in the business of making my music, doing what it takes to hold down my coast, and making sure that my son's future is secure. As far as the critics go, I don't care about that shit, man.

Rap Fanatic: You're one of the most controversial rappers in the game right now. When you first started, did you ever see yourself getting to this level and getting the attention that you're getting now?

The Game: Nah, I never thought I'd get to this level where I'm at now but I'm here so
