let's see both Cam and Ma$e were in a group called "Children of the Corn" w/ Big L(R.I.P.), McGruff and Bloodshed..so basically they came in the game together. the group split and Ma$e got signed to Bad Boy back in '96. after Ma$e released his album, he helped Cam get a deal w/ Untertainment. then Ma$e tells everyone that he's gonna retire and become a pastor, so Ma$e leaves for ATL and Cam is left to hold down Harlem. Cam gets signed to Roc-A-Fella and becomes a top dog on that label and helps his crew The Diplomats get a deal, and also starts his own label. Cam signs more acts(Byrd Gang) and Ma$e comes back from retirement to release another for Bad Boy. then skip to now Ma$e is w/ G-Unit and puts "Murda" back in his name, and Cam has become a major player in hip hop...so whats you opinion peeps who's reppin Harlem down?
