Snoop didnt get arrested

A spokesperson for Snoop Dogg released a statement yesterday (March 13) discounting reports that her client was arrested and charged in Sweden for suspected narcotic use.
As previously reported, Snoop, who is currently on a European tour with Diddy, was pulled over by police in Stockholm early Monday (March 12) after wrapping up a performance at the Globe Arena. Swedish authorities claimed that the Los Angeles bred rapper and an unidentified woman he was riding with showed signs of drug use, which is illegal in the country.

Snoop and his female companion were then detained at a police station and released nearly four hours later. During their detainment police questioned the pair and took body samples from them for laboratory testing. The results are due in two to three weeks and the rapper could face a fine if the tests confirm drug use.

"Contrary to erroneous press reports, Snoop Dogg was not arrested in Sweden," explained his publicist, Tracy Nguyen. "He was questioned and released with no charges filed. He is excited to continue his successful co-headlining European tour with Diddy."
