
DMX will spend at least a weekend in jail for a recent driving infraction that took place in April of 2005 if he pleads guilty to the charges a Bronx judge said yesterday (Oct. 4).
Yesterday, the rapper appeared in Bronx Criminal Court to answer charges of driving with a suspended license.
DMX, born Earl Simmons, failed to make an appearance in court last Tuesday (Sept. 25). His lawyers told Judge George Villegas that the rapper was suffering from food poisoning after returning home from a European trip.
The rapper was already on probation from with a suspended license from a June 2004 road rage incident at JFK Airport in Queens, New York.[/img]
