This may be a stupid question, but do the artists write all the songs they do on their cd's? It seems commonplace for "singers" to do songs written by other people, but is there a market for rap songs? Clearly Em's stuff about his life, mother, Kim, etc. wouldn't be written by someone else, but what about a more "fun" song like "Ass Like That"? Just wondering.

Yep. Some of the producers of the song write it. Like 50 Cent's In Da Club was written by Dr. Dre and the other producer.
