8-mile SoundTrack

Postby ,-,'-{Bar}-',-, » Oct 13th, '08, 19:33

so i had never actually listened to it fully, i had heard the eminem tracks but back then i didnt care much for other artists, so the other day i seen it for £5 and picked it up, and dam what a sick album, all the artists do great on it.

Rakim kills it, R.A.K.I.M is such a dope track its un-real, the beat is awesome and rakim just kills it. Macey Gray, Boomkat and Xzibit Tracks are my other favourites, nas didnt really bring his A-Game but his track is good aswell. i had the whole thing on constant for like 3 days :p

Yeah it's a dope CD. I got my first copy of it a few years ago, and it's deffinetly worth checkin' out. "8 Mile" is my favourite track on the CD too, just soo crazy on soo many different levels. "Places To Go" is sick too, 50 brings an awesome flow. Even "Love Me" and "Rap Game" have all dope verses. Really good compliation CD.

not including R.A.K.I.M, the best track on there for me is, Boomkat - wasting my time, and for rap its, xzibit - Spit shine

i think all 3 of them tracks are better than lose yourself. lose yourself is dope but ive heard people call it the best hip hop track of all time, and thats just lies, its a great eminem track, but thats it. i agree 8 mile is dope though, love the way he works the flow on it :smoking:

^ agree, i dont think lose yourself is eminem's best track by far....

spitshine is a classic track imo, the beat is just amazing, since u have the album, can u tell me who produced it?

i'm not a fan of R.A.K.I.M's beat but i love the hook!

yeah, i love 8 Mile too. and Rabbit Run is a crazy track also, his flow is genius and the lyrics.. ah. :smoking:

there's so many good tracks on that album - Love Me [ft Obie and 50], Rap Game by D12, 8 Miles and Runnin' by Jay and Freeway [Freeway sucks, but i really like Jay on this one, couple of good lines and love his hook], Spit Shine  and U Wanna Be Me..

i think it's one of the best compilations ever, there was a separate thread for this album.. i wonder, does anyone have this second one - More Music from 8 Mile? the one that actually includes songs from the movie, with the same picture on the cover as the movie poster.. i've seen it like once in the store only.. :( and there's some good shit on that one.
