ok so i think eminem said, once you get ur shit straight, the whole point of hip hop is to find new artists and help expand the rap culture..

dre found eminem (and like 15 other dope rappers and made them huge), eminem found 50 cent...., what the fuck has 50 cent done?

the game is only somewhat big but hes not an empire like eminem, dre and 50 are.

Yeah 50 fucked it up but at the beginning he was on the right track. GRODT was certified diamond, Buck and Banks went platinum. And then game went 5 times. I mean G-Unit was unstoppable. Where he fucked up was first signing Olivia. She didn't have the talent OR the look to be a singer.

Then he fucked up when he started shit with Jadakiss. I mean it wasn't the most prominent beef ever, but it did damage him. 50 should have taken a more Wayne approach and focused on collaborations instead of battling his way to the top. Commercial 50 just wasn't that good.

After that he had the whole beef with Game which was retarded because it was an internal thing. He should have tried to keep that as low key as possible. I'm not saying Game destroyed 50 or 50 destroyed Game, but it hurt both of them because people got sick of them.

Past that he just got lazy and let sub par work be sold. The Massacre was ok, but Curtis was SHIT. I don't even remember Banks' albums after Hunger for More. Buck the World was cool, but didn't sell shit (assuming he was even with G-Unit at that point). And Yayo... lmfao oh wow I don't even need to explain that.

50's inability to change his approach is what killed them. Him, Banks, Buck, and Game were hot as fuck and could have been making MILLIONS gettin on everyone's songs, but he had to go the beef route because it happened to work once.

Problem isn't that 50 isn't finding great rappers. The Game and Lloyd Banks are really talented IMO. The problem is that 50 doesn't care enough to promote them (at least Lloyd Banks at the moment). He's too concentrated on his own works and businesses. I mean besides The Game, he hasn't even tried finding a new artist, just making money etc.

yea Em really didnt find good artists with Bobby and Cashis...and its the three headed monster not Gunit, Aftermath, and Shady Records its Em fif and Dre DOING MUSIC not finding artists

Maybe because Dre is into labels and finding new artists to blow up, and is a producer. Where as Eminem has to worry about writing/recording/producing/keeping his fans happy (which this year he hasn't at all the fucking asshole). But still that's not an excuse, Em you suck.
