I think its shitty, untalented rappers (knaye west/lil wayne/wale etc..) getting signed n coming out with shit lyrical songs, duno how the fuck they get signed... plus its people like gucci mane n people like him coming with shit lyricall songs AND always talkking about drugs, guns, how hard they are, how rich they are n how man 'hoes' they fuck... not enough decent rappers coming with tracks that are relevant or anything :n:

An overall lack of acceptance for anything that isn't "hot" at the moment. There's TONS of lyrical rappers out there. There's TONS of talented rappers out there. But for some reason right now the public wants bull shit, even though I think they're starting to snap the fuck out of it.

But anyways the fans are what's wrong with rap because they continuously show that if you put out bull shit they'll buy it, and if you're just trying to make money why put time into it when you can not put time into it and make the same money if not more?

So I blame anyone that supports the Soulja Boys, Lil Waynes, Gucci Manes, OJ Da Juice Mans, and anyone else who doesn't try to do anything different just because they see what makes money.

good point, not enough true rap fans.. just fans of catchy hooks n beats that sound good in a club, which i admit some do... but some artists need to realise that rap is art n have some fucking will power n stay true to themselves n proper fans n not sell out like most of these fuckfaces do

i know wouldnt choose to listen to em... but they fucking everywhere, n i'm at a club 3 days out the week n they follow me there too... i aint sayin 3am would be good for a club lol n to be honest some of the shit songs are good there but life aint a club, the industry needs to realise there is still some true fans left out here

I think Gucci Mane is literally retarded...im not joking I think his IQ is below 60....plus Kanye use to have talent....but I dont think he writes his music anymore and he needs to drop the autotune...and his flow is nothing special....

Wale is actually pretty good you should give him a shot...I give him runner up for Rookie of the year...

And I think that companies bought a whole bunch of no talent Southern rappers to make "do the so and so" songs....if some southern rapper and said "do the eyebrow pluck"....would be a hit for a week and I guess these companies see that that week they see their particular company getting recognition then drop the mothafucker after that. There are so many real talent rappers out there....maybe some in the south...but right now its all eyes on the South in the rap community...and thats all anyone will see until another artist shifts the scope.
