Interscope Pulls Plug on 'Snitchin'
Tuesday - January 17, 2006
A-Plus

A few months ago, The Game released a DVD titled "Stop Snitchin', Stop Lyin'" to mock the title of the 50 Cent film, Get Rich or Die Tryin'."

He told reporters it would be an in-depth look at the feud that had heads turning in hip hop.

After arguing, making up, hugging and more arguing, the two emcees were left with distaste towards one another. Many wondered if it was a publicity stunt, but Game and Fif traded barbs continuously. Game, in an attempt to profit off the beef, decided to release this DVD.

It seemed like a big money maker, but Interscope recently decided to cancel the release of the DVD. According to the LA times.

One of the reasons it was canceled was due to an unlawful incident that appears in the film. According to an LA Times columnist who previously viewed the DVD, Game is seen breaking an entering and stealing a basketball rim off of Fif's property.

This claim is backed by an old radio interview (with Sirius Satellite's Westside Hype) of Game where he boasts about stealing the rim while wearing it around his neck. "We broke ... 50's basketball court," the rapper said. "This is 50 Cent's rim from his backyard. This is my new bling-bling!"

Still, the motives behind Interscopes decision to cancel the DVD remain undeclared as the company claims to not comment on unofficial releases.

50 has not filed any lawsuits, some believe the law could get involved if the DVD were to see the light of day.
