It's 1:21 long... and it gets boring after the 5th time hearing it.

Lol yeah, it just adds to the momentum of the song. When you step onto the court and you just hear his words and let it inspire you and you just bop your head to it. Then the beat kicks in and the lyrics kick in and you feel like you can do anything. Make the song way more inspiring. Same with till i collapse.

lose yourself is a classic in my opinion, the intro is just part of the song. i have no problem with it, imo

I know what you mean, I mean you want to listen to the SONG not what leads to it. Some songs it works, others it doesn't. What's also annoying is on the radio, the rare times I listen to it, they do stupid remixes and scratches to songs that just ruin it and then only play 1/2 the song. It's infuriating.

One of the most annoying I've heard is on this Em song..I think it's a short Canibus diss..He's like..I'm chilling with motherfucking DJ Kayslay..The MOTHERFUCKING DRAMA KING..And just basically repeats that for like 45 seconds..Makes me want to explode.

I love long intros. 'Lose Yourself', 'Till I Collapse' or 'Black Republican'.. They sort of introduce you to the song, it's like a.. sneak peak lol and when the beat's good.. I like the feeling when I hear the beat and I get chills because it's so awesome and you can literally lose yourself in it.

Yeah so true. Intros such as Biggie's "Kick In The Door" which is an amazing song, and you always have to got through that 1minute+ intro which is very annoying.
